By installing, accessing, or using the AuthnzNet CLI tool or visiting this website (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Service is provided by Noundry ("we," "us," or "our"). If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
AuthnzNet provides:
- A local OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect server distributed as a .NET global tool for development, testing, and staging environments
- This marketing and documentation website
- AuthnzNet Cloud (coming soon) — a managed production service with separate terms
3. Use of the CLI Tool
The AuthnzNet CLI tool is provided free of charge for development, testing, and staging use. You may:
- Install and use the tool on any number of machines
- Use it in personal, commercial, and open-source projects
- Use it in CI/CD pipelines and automated testing environments
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the tool except as permitted by applicable law.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Noundry shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the Service.
6. Security
The local CLI tool generates and stores cryptographic keys on your machine. You are responsible for the security of your local environment, including protecting signing keys, database files, and configuration. We strongly recommend not exposing the local server to public networks in production without appropriate security measures.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
