Overview
AuthnzNet is built by Noundry. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use the AuthnzNet CLI tool and visit this website.
AuthnzNet CLI Tool
The AuthnzNet CLI tool (ndaz) runs entirely on your local machine. We want to be clear about what it does and does not do:
- All data (users, tokens, keys, configuration) is stored locally on your machine in an SQLite database
- No telemetry, analytics, or usage data is collected or transmitted
- The tool does not phone home, check for updates automatically, or make any external network requests beyond what you explicitly configure
- RS256 signing keys are generated and stored locally — they never leave your machine
This Website
When you visit authnz.net, we may collect:
- Basic analytics — page views, referral sources, and general geographic region (country-level). We do not track individual users.
- No cookies — this website does not set tracking cookies or use third-party trackers.
AuthnzNet Cloud (Coming Soon)
When AuthnzNet Cloud launches, it will process authentication data (user accounts, tokens, OAuth clients) on your behalf as a service provider. A dedicated cloud privacy policy will be published before launch, covering data processing, retention, security measures, and your rights under applicable privacy regulations.
